How I Work
A space to understand yourself
I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can bring whatever feels important to you.
I work relationally, which means I see the relationship we build together as an important part of the therapeutic process.
I believe that feeling safe, heard and understood can give us the space we need to explore parts of ourselves that may have felt difficult to approach alone.
My hope is that therapy can offer you a space to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing and, ultimately, feel more able to move forward in a way that feels meaningful to you.
An approach shaped around you
As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Transactional Analysis.
This allows me to adapt our work to you, rather than expecting you to fit into one particular way of working.
Different approaches can offer different ways of understanding what you're experiencing, and we'll explore these together to find what feels useful and relevant to you.
Understanding patterns and relationships
I'm particularly interested in attachment and the ways our early experiences and relationships can influence how we see ourselves and connect with others.
Together, we can gently explore where some of these patterns may have come from, how they might be showing up in your life now, and whether there are different ways to understand or respond to them.
